Who we are

Papertame is operated by Sten Labs Oy (business ID 3626862-3, Finland), the data controller for your personal data. For any privacy question, contact us at papertameapp@gmail.com.

What we collect

Your email address — when you sign in with a magic link, buy a tool or pass, or ask us to tell you when a country opens. We use it only to deliver what you asked for. No newsletter.

Documents you upload — processed only to produce your result, then deleted. We do not keep them after processing.

Minimal usage analytics — we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that records aggregate page views only. It does not identify you and stores no personal data.

What we never do

We never put your document content, names, amounts, or email addresses into logs, analytics, or error trackers. Share pages are opt-in, and you can delete them.

Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record, who acts as the data controller for payment and billing information. We never see or store your full card details. Paddle's own privacy notice explains how they handle payment data.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on: performing our contract with you (delivering a tool or pass); your consent (the country-interest list); and our legitimate interest in a secure, working site (minimal analytics).

How long we keep data

Uploads are deleted right after processing. We keep your email while your account or pass is active, and delete it on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, export, or object to the use of your personal data. Email papertameapp@gmail.com and we will action it.

Who processes data for us

We host with Vercel, use Supabase for magic-link sign-in and transient upload storage, and Paddle.com Market Ltd for payments. Each processes data only to run the service.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookie needed to keep you signed in. Our analytics uses no cookies.
