Make it yours

Every German letter read for you, however many arrive

Photograph any German letter. Tame your paper tells you what it is, who sent it, what it wants from you, by when and how much. It comes back in English, with the German quoted beside it so you can hold the card against your own page.

Everybody gets five of those free. With the Pass the count comes off, and it keeps reading for as many letters as you actually get.

The documents above are the ones your move needs once. Letters do not work like that. The registration confirmation, the health fund, the broadcasting fee, the tax number, and later a rent adjustment one spring and an insurance change the next autumn. Five is enough to get started. It is not a year of German post.

The reading is the same either way: the free five give you the answer the Pass gives you. Letters you keep on your own phone stay free with no limit at all.

Keep every German paper in one place

Three months in, an office asks you for a paper by a German name you have never heard, and you cannot remember whether you have it. Your folder is the page that answers that.

  • Every paper your move produces, with its number and the place you put it.
  • The letters themselves. Photograph one with Tame your paper and it files itself here, with its deadline, its amount and its reference.
  • What is still ahead: every deadline read off a letter you tamed, gathered into one list.
  • Your details in the boxes a German form actually asks for, typed once and reused.
  • One printable page per office: what to bring, and room for the reference number every follow-up call starts with.

All of it stays on your own device and is never uploaded. It downloads as one file that opens anywhere and survives a new phone.

Four taps and we show you exactly which animals your move has, which ones we tame, and which ones stay wild.

What you're really paying for

The finished documents themselves

The Pass is 3 specific documents, listed further down this page — the ones that take hours to assemble by hand. Your plan itself is free and stays free. The offices stay yours to visit, and everyday German letters are already free in the message templates.

A field guide to 13 of the animals

Each one answers at least 4 questions from an official source, and always either what catches people out or what to bring. The longest runs to 10 answers. You can read one in full before you decide — the Anmeldung guide is open to everyone.

One folder, and the German you cannot read

The papers you hold, the letters you tamed, and every deadline read off them. Show a letter to Tame your paper and five readings are free. The Pass lifts that limit, so every letter you get is translated. Your details in the boxes a German form asks for, and one page per office with what to bring and room for the reference number.

One payment, no renewal, ever

You pay once. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and there is no second bill waiting for you in twelve months. It is yours from then on.

Enter once, reused everywhere

Your details fill every document in one consistent, quietly premium format — no retyping, no mismatched files, everything in one place.

Your documents never go stale

Every document here is built from dated, source-cited rules. When a rule your document rests on changes, you regenerate it free — for as long as we run Germany, not for twelve months.

More than a free guide. A fraction of an agency.

Nobody pays us to send you anywhere

Most routes through German bureaucracy are paid for somewhere — by an insurer, a bank, an energy provider, an estate agent. Ours is not. The doors in your plan are official ones, and they pay us nothing. So the only thing we can sell you is the paperwork itself. And a step is on your list for one reason only: your move needs it.

Free map. Done-for-you documents.

No dark patterns: the map stays free. The Pass is only the finished paid documents — and every one we add for Germany afterwards.

Always free — never gated

The plan, every guide, and all 12 tools that organise and explain your paperwork. The Pass never gates a single one.
