Tame your paper
A German letter arrived and you cannot read a word of it. Find out what it is, how serious it is, and whether it wants anything from you.
Nothing is uploaded. The photo or the PDF is read on your own device, by a reader served from this site and nobody else's, and we never see the letter.
Show it the letter
The first photo downloads the reader itself, about four megabytes, from us rather than from anyone else. After that it works with no connection at all.
A PDF from an office portal or an e-mail is read straight from its text, which is faster and more exact than any photo. A scanned one is read like a photo instead.
Two or three words is enough. The sender is usually the largest text on the page, and you can copy it without knowing what it means.
What this does not do
It names the letter and shows you what we have already checked against the office that publishes it. It does not read your letter word for word, it does not tell you what to decide, and it never answers on your behalf.
